Erin Walsh

By day, Erin Walsh is a postdoctoral fellow at  the Centre for Research on Ageing, Health and Wellbeing, Research School of Population Health at the Australian National University. Her research focuses on the impact of blood glucose on the ageing brain, with an ample sprinkling of methodological synthesis that applies methods from geography, mathematics, and animal biology to population health. By night Erin is a scientific illustrator who works with academics from a variety of disciplines to bring their work into visual form. A unique mix of analytical and aesthetic skill, Erin is equally at home writing functions in R and illustrating the development of Amphiprion melanopus inside the egg.
